Only Hire Plumbers Experienced with Mobile Homes

There are many differences in the plumbing problems we find in traditional tract homes verses mobile homes. Integrity Leveling knows these differences which is why you should always call us versus a regular plumber.

Plumbing Material: Water pipe material used in a standard home is typically copper. For mobile homes, it is usually plastic pipes. Unfortunately, the plastic pipe used in older mobile homes is far more prone to leak. Newer mobile homes use CPVC or PEX tubing which lasts just as long as copper pipes.

The location of plumbing pipe in mobile homes is also different. Water lines in tract homes come out of the walls, but pipes for mobile homes usually come straight out of the floor. It is essential to plan for the location of the pipes as you remodel a mobile home.

Venting drain pipes is another example of how mobile home plumbing is unique. Mobile home tubs often lack an overflow. This knowledge is essential when snaking the tub.

Mobile home clean-outs can be problematic. When there is a sewer clog in a tract home, there are kitchen clean-outs, mainline clean-outs, and washing machine clean-outs. Quite often we find that mobile homes do not have clean-outs. This is a problem for mobile homeowners as clogged sewer lines are then expensive. Fortunately, Integrity Leveling has experience with all these unique issues which is why it is essential to call Integrity Leveling instead of a regular plumber.
